Just had an intense thunderstorm pass overhead, here in Wigan, Lancashire. I have access to quite a few lightning detector applications and I have to say that yours is the most accurate, despite the distance between us. Thank you.

Following my previous post mentioning not so different yearly average temperatures in my location between Dolomites and Adriatic sea and most of England, I have studied the topic with some more detail. As some people from Leeds frequently come here for holiday, I have done a small comparison between my climate and one amateur station in Leeds for them. It can be seen here http://www.cirvoi.altervista.org/meteo/studi/leeds_cirvoi2009.htm I suppose weather in Essex is not so different from Leeds. Ciao, Ettore

Hi there, What a lovely site, and much more importantly - what a lot of historical weather data you have. Could I possibly ask you a really huge favour, would you consider joining our Climate Change Project (we are neither for nor against climate change) at http://www.iiccp.co.uk as a Weather Display user - all you need to do is upload a single log file to your website every month and we handle everything else for you. We hope to hear from you soon.

Like a few other comments i have read on this site this has inspired us to finish our half-installed weather station at home here in High Easter (Nr Great Dunmow). Thank you for an excellent and very informative site.
Best Regards |
