Hi I note that your rain total for April 2012 was c 75mm and Tijou based very close to you have 135 which seems to concur better with other sites in Essex. I realise much of the rain has been showery but I cannot see how the figs can vary so much and i wonder if you have an explanation.... Generally yours is my local site of choice because you are more reliable on temperature and I am very grateful for the service you provide Thanks Tim |

Love this site with all of the weather statistics. I am forever arguing with people about what sort of spring/summer we had last year and any other last year before that so this is really useful. I work in a children's centre so the weather in school holiday periods always has such an impact on our activity programmes. For some reason knowing that I can look up particular weeks over the past few years makes me feel better when planning. Silly I know as our weather seems to be completely erratic these days. Anyway, thank you |

Hi, just wanted to say a big thank you for your Colchester weather stats. I'm up the road in Wivenhoe and it's really useful info. This morning I was able to assure guests heading towards London that the thaw was underway. Looking forward to a gradual warm up and, hopefully, some decent storms this summer. |
